Welcome to My Practice
My private psychotherapy and counseling practice is located in Smithtown, New York. The practice is in a house that has been converted to several professional offices. It is a very “patient friendly” office, located on the first floor, and easily accessible via a ramp. There is ample off-street parking in back of the building. (See pictures below).
Before establishing my private practice in 1984 I worked for more than 10 years with community mental health agencies and an HMO where I was the Director of Mental Health Services.
Most of my referrals come from former and current patients, colleagues, and insurance companies.
In addition to counseling of individuals and couples I am an evaluator for the New York State Drinking Driver Program and I supervise new graduates and other current therapists.
It is my hope that this site will provide you with the information that you need to understand how I may be able to help you, how my practice operates, and how you can contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
