I am a graduate of Smith College (MSW) and have worked in the mental health field for over 35 years.  I am a Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work by the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work, and am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  I am in supervision on a weekly basis to discuss my cases.

 

Both individuals and couples are seen, but the practice is presently limited to clients who are age 16 and older.

  • Participate in the New York State Drinking Driver Program (DDP) as an evaluator
  • Supervise new graduates and current therapists.
  • Have been a supervisor at agencies for Social Work students from Adelphi and Stony Brook.

  

 

Besides my private practice I have been active in the mental health aspects of disaster relief including:

  • American Red Cross Mental Health Disaster Team
  • Project Liberty in the aftermath of the 9/11/01 attacks
